Classic diner experience. Food is just what you would want from this type of place. Wait staff is extremely friendly.
So I used to come here when I was in highschool. A long time ago. Lol matter of fact I came here in 99 when I graduated highschool. Back then this place was good. Then it seemed to become a diner for old folks. Now they are back and stronger than ever. The food was great the service was great. No complaints. The restaurant was very busy.
I am giving four stars only because I want to try more things. I am glad that for a late evening dinner I was able to find a reasonably sized item, not too expensive. However, I need to really try their top breakfast items for a better opinion. Their chai drink was fantastic. I was so surprised. Very nice service.

Was out on Thanksgiving with a friend and found out the bar and grill we went to watch the Packers game was sans "grill" that night. My friend was starving. Luckily, the Golden Apple remained open. God Bless those employees because they were a sight for sore eyes! I have walked past this place a bunch of times and wondered "when would be the time". I guess its thanksgiving! Its typical diner food. I really wanted a country fried steak and eggs, but they do not offer it. Instead, I got the Cordon Blu Omelette which was different, but good. It came with fries AND toast. Yum! My friend from out of town seemed to like it too. I think it did the trick and saved two dudes from late night hunger. If I am in the area, I will certainly come back! Good option!
I LOVE Golden Apple! They have a huge variety of items, are extremely kind if you have any dietary restrictions/etc, and the portions are always huge. Thank you. guys! :)
Why to come here: - good breakfast food with big portions - fair prices - outdoor seating that allows dogs - pretty easy to get a table, especially if you go around dinner - easy street parking Most recently, I had the corned beef hash which was very good. It came with eggs and pancakes.
